"Black Pearl Resin Vase and Sphere"

$400.00

This Vase is Woodturned on a Lathe out of Hackberry Wood and Acrylic Casting Resin. It was colored with black dyes and reflective Mica Powders then figured down to 4” High x 9” Diameter Vase and Weighs approximately 1.3 lbs.. The vase was made from reclaimed wood that was on its way to live at a landfill. This wood displays an unusual amount of figured (wavy) grain structure that complements the open trumpet vase design.

The "Pearl" itself was cast into a sphere made of Acrylic Resin and is 3" in diameter. It was then polished on the lathe and is on constant display at the vase center.

80% of the proceeds from the sale of this item will be donated to Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.) .
