"Big Leaf Maple Bowl"
Woodcraft/Lathe Turned Bowl from Local Oregon Maple hardwood. Finished to 800 grit, polished in 100% natural beeswax and orange oil (for citrus allergen info).
Approximately 10" wide x 2" deep. About 2 pounds..
Singular, low/narrow bowl to be used as a fruit bowl or simple display, comes in a custom-made fabric booty-sack. This bowl is made from the area of the tree called a "crotch" as it is where a limb parts from the main trunk. The grain here often become very embroiled and causes a myriad of colors and designs. This bowl is a true one-of-a-kind that will last for generations and can be easily maintained with simple beeswax/orange oil polish. The underside has the artists strike and signature.
